Pantheon were engaged to design and implement a reliable network solution for a large residential property, including a secondary building on site that required seamless connectivity. The client needed consistent, high-performance internet access throughout both properties, without compromising stability or ease of use.
Following an on-site assessment, Pantheon designed a network extension that ensured full coverage across the main residence and the secondary property. To achieve a link between properties, high-performance point-to-point wireless devices were installed to securely bridge the two buildings, creating a single, unified network. This approach avoided the need for disruptive cabling works over >100m of land while delivering a fast and dependable connection.
To complete the installation, Pantheon designed and deployed the network using high-quality UniFi equipment. A central network gateway was installed to manage and secure the entire system, supported by three Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches that connected and powered all network devices without the need for additional power cables. Five UniFi wireless access points were then strategically installed to provide strong, reliable Wi-Fi coverage in high-priority areas of the main home and the outbuilding.
The installation was carefully planned to ensure optimal placement of all equipment, maximising performance and resilience. Pantheon configured the network to provide consistent coverage throughout the property, ensuring that everyday activities such as streaming, remote working, smart home systems, and video calls functioned reliably in all areas.
The network was thoroughly tested to confirm signal strength, speed, and stability across both buildings. Any fine-tuning required was carried out on site to ensure the system performed as expected under real-world conditions.
The project was completed efficiently and with minimal disruption to the household. The result was a robust, secure, and future-proof home network that delivered seamless connectivity across the entire property. Pantheon also provided clear guidance to the homeowner on how the system operates, ensuring confidence in its ongoing use and expansion if required.
